The growing use of the Internet and digital media has forced many libraries, museums, and academic organizations to find new ways to remain viable and provide access to collections. Increasing attention is also being paid to digitizing and preserving important works. The Library of Congress along with private sector contributors such as Google announced plans recently to build a World Digital Library, providing access to important literary, cultural, and historical works from institutions around the world. Many other public and private groups, associations, and philanthropic organizations are offering funding support for similar initiatives. The Opening Books Project will work with your organization to find grants, corporate sponsorship of museum and library exhibits, and other funding sources to preserve and provide access to your collection. DatAchieve can also work with you to explore joint publishing and revenue sharing opportunities to fund your project.
We welcome all inquiries from public and private organizations, software developers, hardware manufacturers, and other new media companies.
